JU Engineering Dual Degree Program has new leader

Dr. Huihui (Helen) Wang, JU Engineering Dual Degree Program director and assistant professor

Jacksonville University’s Engineering Dual Degree Program is now under the leadership of new Director and Assistant Prof. Dr. Huihui (Helen) Wang.

Wang recently completed a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Virginia.

“She has a background in both electrical and mechanical engineering, so we are very excited for you to benefit from her diverse expertise … ” Assistant Physics Prof. Brian Lane, who served as the Engineering Dual Degree Program’s interim director for 16 months, said in a memo to the program’s staff and students. I look forward to continuing to enthusiastically support this program in any ways that I can as a member of the Physics Department.”

Wang also has a Master of Science in mechanical engineering degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in Xi’an China and a Bachelor of Science in environmental sciences degree from Northwestern Polytechnic University in Xi’an.
